Alesha Renee was born in the dirty South in Lake Charles, La., but the self-proclaimed military brat will tell you that she was “raised everywhere.” At 22 years-old, she’s the baby of the network, but is no stranger to hard work and the spotlight. Prior to her BET gig, Alesha Renee held down 9 to 5’s doing everything from real estate to babysitting to LOTS of retail. She is ecstatic about landing this dream job and hopes to be “the best host she can be.” BET
